On 4 May 2019, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver organized the Buddhist merit-making ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the Coronation of King Rama X at Yanviriya 1 Buddhist Temple in Vancouver. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Nontawat Chandrtri, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver. The event was well attended by the Consulate-General’s officials as well as members of the Thai community and their families in Vancouver and nearby cities.
