On 11 May 2019, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver organized a networking meeting of Thai students in British Columbia at the Consulate-General’s residence. The objective of this meeting was to provide opportunity for students to meet the Consulate-General’s officials and to be informed of the services provided by the Consulate as well as to build and strengthen network among students which will help support them through their study in Canada. The meeting was participated by more than 50 students of different academic levels from high school to postgraduate studies.
On this occasion, Mr. Nontawat Chandrtri, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver provided information about the Consulate’s various activities and projects and invited Thai students to be part of the activities. Consul-General also informed of the Consulate’s readiness to support Thai student’s activities and projects. Moreover, Consul-General also briefed the students about consular services provided by the Consulate such as passport and national identification card, legalization of document, request for temporary waiver of military services, registration and protection of Thai nationals abroad.
