On April 28, 2017, Mrs. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver participated in the PDS Thai Night 2017 at Aldergrove Secondary School. This event was organized by a group of 70 teachers and students from Pathumwan Demonstration School, Bangkok who were in Vancouver for a one-month English courses in 5 high schools in Langley.
On this occasion, the Consul-General welcomed the participants, consisted of directors, teachers and officials from the 5 schools and Canadian host families, and congratulated the students for the course completion. The Consul-General also extended her appreciation to all supporters and organizers of the English course for the Thai students as well as the PDS Thai Night. The evening showcased exhibition about Thailand, Thai food tasting and Thai cultural performances by the students with the view to promote Thai culture among Canadian public. The Consul-General also took this opportunity to extend cordial invitation to the 4th Thai Festival in Vancouver to be held from July 22-23, 2017 at North Plaza of Vancouver Art Gallery.
