The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver, led by Mrs. Thippayakarn Chandrtri – spouse of the Consul-General of Thailand to Vancouver, hosted “ASEAN Ladies Get Together” at the Thai Consul-General’s residence on March 27, 2019. The event was participated by ASEAN Consuls-General, officials and their spouses. Among the attendees were Mrs. Maria Andrelita S. Austria – Consul General of the Philippines, Mrs. Tu Lan Trinh – Consul General of Vietnam, Mrs. Mastura Mansor – spouse of the Consul-General of Malaysia as well as consular officials from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, totaling 16 people.
Activities during the event included Thai fruit and vegetable carving demonstrations, as well as learning their decoration and presentation techniques. At this event, all participants had also the opportunity to try numerous Thai carvings styles at first hand before enjoying various Thai cuisine together in a very amicable atmosphere. The event was very successful and appreciated by all parties.
